FIGHT AGAINST FIBROMYALGIA . PEOPLE WHO GOT RECOGNIZED FROM COURTS FOR TOTAL DISABILITY.

CASE 1

Miguel Ángel García, a 46-year-old from Granada who has been a carpenter for 30 years, has health and spirit made of sawdust . He uses a walker because he has difficulty walking and does not have the strength to smile. He is one of the few men – his lawyer does not know another case in Granada – who has managed to get a court to recognize him as a permanent total incapacitated because he is sick with fibromyalgia.

This is not, however, the only condition suffered by Michelangelo, as it also presents a depression and problems in the back (four disc protrusions, a twisted vertebra and chronic low back pain).

Before his back began to suffer and he was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last year, when hundreds of racks were coming out of his humble workshop in the Chana neighborhood for students of the Fine Arts of Granada, he was able to download only three trucks wood. Now he can barely hold his toothbrush for two minutes without getting tired.

CASE 2

The Court of the Social Number 4 of Cordoba (Spain), has recognized the permanent disability pension in absolute grade, of a worker of the home help service, with severe fibromyalgia and neck pain, recognizing her right to a pension of 14 pays a year of 100 percent of its regulatory base, after the initial diagnosis was “incomplete”.
According to Europa Press , from Martínez-Echevarría Abogados, the  experts of the firm have managed to have the court review the opinion- proposal of the Disability Assessment Team (EVI), with a residual picture  that initially attributed a degree of permanent disability in the  degree of total, disabling only for his usual profession in home help  , where “nothing was said of other pathologies such as severe  fibromyalgia  and its limitations”.
